Vitamin Giving

CGF representatives has delivered the first set of Vitamin to storm-stricken area this weekend in Batangas Philippines where many lost their homes. The area did not receive enough supply so our foundation came in to fill the rest of their needs.

Thank you to all these Volunteers and Board Members Lormen and Abe (the 2 middle person in blue shirts) who help make things possible! They we’re all patient in travelling far to get to the people. Without them, this event would not have been successful! Thank you for your Kind Hearts. May all your efforts be returned with granted wishes from the heart!

Gathering Donations for Philippines

CGF USA is currently gathering in-kind donations for shipping to Philippines disaster victims until end of November. Goods are distributed by Board Members and long time Volunteers. Reports released directly to donors at every distribution.

Helping does not have to cost you anything. You can donate used items or anything extra from your pantry. Every little bit helps because together the impact is big. Give wherever you are most comfortable with. It will all end up in the same place. Used underwear or expired food are not accepted.

Those who wish to donate cash can do so by depositing to Bank of America account  # 501010376773 (best way to send) or PAYPAL.  We will convert your cash donation to food. Please make sure to send your info to donation@cullinangroupfoundation so you can receive report of where your donation went & receipt.  One hundred percent (100%) of donations goes towards the cause.

  • Answer to Common question: Do you take portion of the cash donation to your operation? NO. Helping Philippines Disaster Victims The Right Way

Often times you hear people asking for help to disaster victims but most of the time it leaves donors wondering if the goods actually reached the people. Many of those who are seeking for donations have several layers before it get to the people. Stop the bad experience. Send donations to those who give the goods directly to the people. See below for options.

  • To send goods directly at low risk to Volunteers, consider sending it directly to DSWD a government office who can receive goods. They will add your donated goods to those that are being distributed by them. They put items in plastic bags and then give it out to the people directly. Delivery receipt is your only receipt.For Bohol and Cebu area send to the address below. This is the closest location to the major disaster.

    • CGF does not solicit in person, does not call anyone’s home/business. Everyone at the foundation including its Board Members are Volunteers who also donate to the cause.
    • In-kind donation pick up accepted in Stockton California areas only for now. Shipped weekly by Ocean to Manila office who distribute goods as soon as received.

  • Want to distribute goods yourself?
    Work with DSWD office, Barangay, or other registered Nonprofit agencies. Whatever you do, however many you are – do not go alone. Individuals who wish to distribute goods on their own must practice caution specially in areas where massive disaster has stricken. If not protected, you may find yourself hurt and in the middle of stampede. Always donate wisely by working with legitimate foundations who knows what they are doing. You can always stand alongside with them so you can see where the goods goes.

Miss Philippines Earth 2011 runner up joins CGF

CGF welcomes Ellaine Beshay  Miss Philippines Earth 2011 3rd runner up from Davao Region. She joins CGF as Goodwill Ambassador starting January 15th, 2012.

Ellaine will host CGF’s events in the Philippines starting February and will also represent the foundation on some of its community projects. On occasion and as needed, she will also travel to the US for some community activity.

A current pre-dentistry student who aims to become a future Model and Actress. Apart from her stunning beauty and mature mind, she loves to sing, knows how to spend budget sensibly, and has passion for the people. At age 18 she has accomplished a lot in her life including travelling to other countries. She speaks English, Tagalog, Cebuano, Arabic.

We hope that through CGF she will be able to attain her dreams while her passion for the people is fulfilled!
